Welcome to my site! I am Sy
Liebergot and I want to tell you about my journey of a
lifetime as Apollo EECOM at the NASA Mission Control Center
during the years of the Apollo Program.
I like to refer to my site and to my speaking
engagements as "knowledge preservation." The history books
aren't always right - I was there when it all happened -
from the early days of Apollo, to the landing on the Moon,
to the near tragedy of Apollo 13, through our first space
station, Skylab and ASTP, the first international space
mission.
I have written my story in the book "Apollo
EECOM - Journey of a Lifetime". I hope you get
the chance to pick it up and read it. It's a story of
overcoming life's obstacles, persevering, and being part of
the greatest part of the 20th century - landing on the moon.
I love sharing my experiences through this
site, my book and in public forums. So, come on inside and
